Please continue to send me the Nursing in Virginia magazine.

I would like to be put on your mailing list, as I did not get a copy of the spring edition of your magazine. I am the nurse in an advertisement in this edition. Fellow RNs from the hospital have shown me their copy, which is how I know about your magazine. The articles look interesting.

Of all the unsolicited mail I get, 99.9% goes into the recycle bin unopened. This one is different. The content is relevant to current (read perennial!) nursing issues, without being merely a shallow cover for advertising. Nursing in the southwest portion of the state needs all the help it can get. I loved the articles featuring Janet Younger and Martha Moon.

What a great magazine. I recently moved from Richmond to Blacksburg and I am very glad you expanding to include the Roanoke region. I would love to continue getting the magazine.

Curious that all the jokes in the humor section were not only tasteless and sexual in nature but were featured in the same issue as a sexual harassment article.

Thank you for the recent copy of Nursing In Virginia. I have read each article and was particularly interested in the one re: the DNP degree. I intend to go online and fi nd out programs currently offering this degree. I do wonder who will serve as faculty knowing the shortage of faculty already present in schools of nursing.
I do appreciate the section on Humor and know that it is a human behavior that can assist us in many situations -- including being a nurse. At the same time, I prefer not to do this at the expense of the persons we are supposed to ‘care for.’ I found Treat Your
Nurse Right in poor taste and certainly does not represent my approach to being a nurse.
I would be interested in knowing if you seek articles from nurses
in general or do you request articles from particular nurse
authors?
